The Jovo X2 housing is precision-machined from a single block of 6061 aluminum. The grinder weighs 4.1 kg (9.0 lbs) and measures 130mm wide × 150mm deep × 360mm tall, designed to fit under standard 18-inch upper cabinets. The motor is a 250W gear-reduction DC unit running at 1,200 RPM.

Burrs and adjustment

The grinder uses 64mm flat steel burrs from Brescia, Italy, with a published lifespan of approximately 1,000 kg of coffee. Adjustment is stepless via a top-mounted dial with detents every 0.05 of a turn. A single dial rotation spans the full espresso-to-pourover range, and zero-point recalibration is performed without tools.

Single-dose workflow

The X2 ships with a 60g single-dose hopper and a static-reducing dosing cup. Programmable timer presets cover three profiles (espresso, V60, batch brew), each adjustable to 0.1 second resolution. Retention is rated at less than 0.3g per dose with no purge required between bean changes.
